ABOUT THE ROLE
As a cleaner, your role is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you’ll help create an environment that feels like home. If you’re dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing atmosphere and take pride in high standards, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our seniors every day.
This position is a Permanent Part-time role offering 30.40 hours per fortnight at our Mosman Park Care Facility.
Week 1 & 2:
Tuesday: 0700 – 1515
Wednesday: 0700 – 1515
Please note, days/hours are not flexible - you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
· Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routines
· Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
· Follows cleaning schedule
· Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
· Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
· Maintains effective interpersonal relationships
Essential Criteria:
· Evidence of COVID-19 and Current 2024 Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
· Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
· Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks
· Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
· Proven organisational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required.
· Demonstrated good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
